The city engineer has determined that the source of the bad smell at Gordon Hwy and N. Leg Rd. is from a direct pipe from the municipal building on Walton Way. He stated that an unusual amount of waste has been coming down the toilets through the pipes creating the problem.
When questioned the city engineer stated that he was not speaking metaphorically but literally. “I understand how that statement could be taken both ways with the amount of crap city officials come up with and put out”, he said.“ But this is a sewage problem perhaps caused from Vax Up Augusta cards being flushed and clogging the system or from the Mayor’s office having Indian food every day for lunch. We just are not sure yet.”
