After criticism about his management of the Augusta Aquatic Center, Maurice McDowell the parks and recreations director decided to pursue a different career.
McDowell has purchased the franchise rights to McDowell’s made famous from the movie Coming To America.
“I decided I wanted to partner with my long time buddy who got me my job with the county, Sammie Sias,” McDowell said.
Sias stated that as soon as he gets out of prison he hopes to go try the restaurant.
“Perhaps McDowell fill find the time to send me a birthday cake with a file in it,” Sias stated.
