A recall attempt to oust Catherine McKnight has failed. The measure was rejected after it was revealed that her colleagues, the follow county commissioners each signed their name 10 times to the petition.
Mayor Hardie Davis’s name appeared on the petition 6 times. When questioned he responded that he wanted to “cancel McKnight” because she kept calling for an audit of the mayors financial transactions.
