Columbia County Board of Education has elected to have Elon Musk come and teach a seminar to its students on entrepreneurship. Richmond County on the other hand has asked Ghislaine Maxwell to come and teach on sex education.
The stark differences highlight values of parents in each school district. Representatives from each district sent home a survey on whom and what parents would like their students taught and the results were clear. The school boards engaged the speakers based on those survey results.
