There is a slight chance of rain drizzle in the forecast today, so Mayor Hardie Davis has decided to cancel a scheduled press conference.
When asked why he was afraid of a little rain he stated, “This way I don’t have to run away from reporters asking me questions about my two ethics investigations, trip to Qatar, if I am qualified to run for higher office, how I have spent my, I mean your, tax money.”
The press conference is not going to be rescheduled and Davis will not be answering any questions as part of his “Transparent Augusta” initiative.
