Commissioner Ben Hasan has been pushing for Augusta to hire a lobbyist firm to help promote Augusta. In a quite closed-door session, the lobbyist is going to be approved Monday.
The new groups campaign planned for Augusta sounds familiar though. Taken straight from the lyrics of a recently recorded song Augusta is apparently famous like Applebee’s on a date night.
Hasan stated that date nights were very important to him and why shouldn’t Augusta be compared to his date nights. “You can use your imagination there and go anywhere you want with what I mean by my date nights,” Hasan stated.
