In an effort to lose weight Sheriff Richard Roundtree has decided to become an official Subway spokesman.
Roundtree stated that the decision came as an attempt to remedy criticism over his weight issue. “I know I am overweight. I love to eat. Years of eating Krispy Kreme on the job really worked me over. Now I just sit behind a desk and don’t get to exercise”, Roundtree stated.
A spokesman for Subway stated that they selected Roundtree because of his stellar leadership skills demonstrated as the Augusta sheriff.
